Singapore Zoo with Tram Ride

Singapore Zoo spans 28 hectares of rainforest at Mandai, home to more than 3500 animals from over 300 species. The zoo is open from 8.30 am to 6 pm, and your ticket includes a tram ride through the grounds with commentary on the animals along the route.

The tram ride carries you past several of the zoo's themed zones before you set off on foot to explore them further. Frozen Tundra recreates the cold of the polar region around its resident polar bear, while Fragile Forest opens onto a rainforest canopy and its mangrove ecosystem. In Wild Africa, open grassland gives way to African wild dogs, meerkats, white rhinoceros and lions roaming in view. The Reptile Garden houses king cobras, pythons and the Komodo dragon alongside the Aldabra giant tortoise, and Australian Outback brings you close to kangaroos and emus. Before you leave, the zoo's orchid garden lets you walk among orchid blooms and tropical crops in a quieter corner of the grounds.

1. You will receive your e-ticket by email shortly after booking; check your spam or junk folder if it does not arrive.
2. Reserve your entry time slot in advance through the official Singapore Zoo booking portal, using the booking code on your e-ticket.
3. Read the instructions and terms on your ticket, then present it at the venue for scanning.
4. Once scanned, you can enter the zoo.

• Bring a valid photo ID or passport, as it must be shown at the entrance.
• Tickets are open dated; you must reserve an entry slot in advance using the booking code on your e-ticket.
• Book your slot at least 72 hours ahead, since slots are subject to availability.
• Arriving after your reserved slot is treated as a no-show, with no rescheduling or refund.
• Strollers and wheelchairs are available to rent inside the zoo, on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
