How to Apply — Egypt Visa Assistance by Rayna Tours

At Rayna Tours, we manage your Egypt visa application completely on your behalf — whether it is a fully digital eVisa or a physical sticker visa through the Egyptian Embassy or Consulate — ensuring your application is accurate, complete, and professionally prepared from start to finish.

Step 1 — Share Your Travel Details & Confirm Payment
Provide your country of residence, nationality, intended travel dates, number of applicants, and your preferred visa assistance package. Complete a secure online payment to confirm your booking. A booking confirmation along with your next steps will be sent to your registered email address promptly upon successful payment.

Step 2 — Upload Your Documents via My Booking
Once payment is confirmed, you will receive a secure link to My Booking via email. Visit raynatours.com, navigate to the My Booking section, and upload all required documents using your booking reference number and registered email ID. Our team will review and verify your documents and confirm if anything further is required before proceeding.

Step 3 — Entry Route Confirmation & Application Completion
Our visa consultants will confirm the correct entry route — Visa Exempt, eVisa, or Sticker Visa — based on your specific passport nationality, country of residence, and travel purpose.

For UAE & KSA Nationals — Visa Exempt:
No visa, no eVisa, and no application required. Our team will advise on all entry requirements for a smooth arrival in Egypt.

For eVisa Applicants:
The application will be accurately completed and submitted through the official Egypt eVisa portal — visa2egypt.gov.eg — on your behalf, ensuring zero errors or inconsistencies. All personal details, passport information, and travel dates will be verified for accuracy before submission.

For Sticker Visa Applicants — UAE Market:
Our team will prepare your complete application file and submit it to the Egyptian Embassy in Abu Dhabi or the Egyptian Consulate General in Dubai — depending on your emirate of residence — on your behalf.

For Sticker Visa Applicants — India Market:
Our team will prepare your complete application file and submit it through BLS International — the authorised Egypt visa application centre in India — available in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, and Kolkata.

Step 4 — Tracking & Visa Delivery
Our dedicated coordination team will actively monitor the status of your application and keep you informed at every stage.

For eVisa applicants: Once approved, your Egypt eVisa will be sent directly to your registered email address as a PDF document. Our team will advise you to print the eVisa and present it at Egyptian immigration upon arrival — alongside your valid passport. Digital copies may not be accepted at all Egyptian ports of entry.

For Sticker Visa applicants: Once approved, your passport with the Egypt sticker visa affixed will be returned to you before your travel date. Our team will advise you on the validity period and entry conditions before departure.

Important Notes

  • UAE & KSA Nationals: Fully visa-exempt — up to 90 days — enter on valid passport. No application required.
  • Sinai-Only Travel: Travellers whose entire itinerary is within the Sinai Peninsula resorts (Sharm El Sheikh, Dahab, Nuweiba, Taba) may receive a free 15-day Sinai-only entry stamp upon arrival. This stamp does NOT permit travel beyond Sinai — travellers wishing to visit Cairo, Luxor, or Hurghada must hold a full Egypt visa.
  • The official Egypt eVisa portal is visa2egypt.gov.eg — the only legitimate government portal. Rayna Tours submits all eVisa applications exclusively through this portal.
  • Apply at least 7 working days before travel — eVisa processing takes 5 to 7 working days. Do not book non-refundable flights or accommodation until the eVisa is approved.
  • The eVisa is electronically linked to the passport number — the same passport used to apply must be presented at Egyptian immigration.
  • All Egypt eVisa fees and Rayna Tours service fees are strictly non-refundable once submitted — regardless of the outcome.

Egypt — Visa Overview

About Egypt

Egypt is one of the world's most awe-inspiring and historically extraordinary destinations — a civilisation of over 5,000 years that has captivated explorers, scholars, and travellers throughout the ages. Straddling the northeast corner of Africa and the Sinai Peninsula of Asia, Egypt is a land of timeless grandeur — where ancient monuments of unimaginable scale stand alongside a vibrant modern culture, a warm and welcoming people, and some of the world's finest beach and diving destinations.

The Pyramids of Giza — the only surviving wonder of the ancient world — rise dramatically from the desert plateau just outside Cairo, alongside the enigmatic Great Sphinx and the vast Giza Necropolis that has entranced visitors for millennia. The Egyptian Museum in Cairo houses the world's most extraordinary collection of ancient artefacts — including the priceless golden treasures of Tutankhamun — while the new Grand Egyptian Museum in Giza, one of the largest archaeological museums in the world, represents a new chapter in Egypt's proud cultural heritage. Cairo itself — one of the Arab world's most dynamic and vibrant capitals — pulses with extraordinary energy, from the historic lanes of Islamic Cairo and the magnificent Khan El Khalili bazaar to the world-class restaurants and Nile-side promenades of modern Zamalek and Downtown.

Upper Egypt — accessible by the legendary Nile cruise — reveals the extraordinary temple complexes of Luxor and Karnak, the Valley of the Kings where the tombs of the pharaohs were carved deep into the limestone cliffs, the magnificent temples of Abu Simbel on the shores of Lake Nasser, and the ancient city of Aswan with its tranquil Nile islands and colourful Nubian villages. The Sinai Peninsula offers the iconic beach resorts of Sharm El Sheikh, Dahab, and Taba — with some of the world's finest coral reef diving in the Red Sea — alongside the spiritual magnificence of Mount Sinai and the ancient Saint Catherine's Monastery. Alexandria — Egypt's Mediterranean city — enchants with its Greco-Roman heritage, legendary Library, and its relaxed cosmopolitan atmosphere along the Mediterranean corniche. Egypt is a destination of extraordinary depth, warmth, and discovery — a land where the ancient and the modern coexist in perfect and fascinating harmony.

What is an Egypt eVisa?

The Egypt eVisa is a fully digital travel authorisation issued by the Ministry of Interior of the Arab Republic of Egypt — operated through the official Egypt eVisa portal — visa2egypt.gov.eg. It is applied for entirely online — no embassy visit, no passport submission, and no in-person appointment required at any stage. The approved eVisa is delivered to the applicant's registered email address — must be downloaded, printed, and presented at Egyptian immigration upon arrival alongside the valid travel passport.

Is There a Sticker Visa for Egypt?

Yes — Egypt issues physical sticker visas through its Embassies and Consulates abroad — in addition to the fully digital eVisa system. For nationalities applying through the Egyptian Embassy or Consulate — or for those requiring visa categories not available through the eVisa portal — a physical sticker visa is issued and affixed into the passport.

Egypt offers three distinct entry options for international travellers:

Option 1 — eVisa (Fully Digital — Online Before Travel): Available to nationals of 75+ countries — applied for online through the official portal — visa2egypt.gov.eg — no embassy visit required. The approved eVisa is delivered by email as a PDF — must be printed and presented at Egyptian immigration. No sticker is placed in the passport at the time of application.

Option 2 — Sticker Visa (Egyptian Embassy or Consulate): For nationalities preferring or required to apply in person — the Egyptian Embassy or Consulate in the applicant's country of residence issues a physical sticker visa affixed into the passport. Processing: 5 to 7 working days. In the UAE — applications are submitted to the Egyptian Embassy in Abu Dhabi or the Egyptian Consulate General in Dubai. In India — applications are processed through BLS International — the authorised visa application centre for Egypt in India — with BLS centres in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, and Kolkata.

Option 3 — Visa on Arrival (VOA): Available at major Egyptian airports including Cairo International, Sharm El Sheikh, Hurghada, Marsa Alam, Alexandria, and Luxor — for eligible nationalities. Fee: USD 30 — effective 1 March 2026 — payable in cash only — preferably in US Dollars. While convenient for last-minute travel, Rayna Tours strongly recommends applying for the eVisa online before travel to avoid airport queues and the risk of denied boarding.

Important Warning — Official eVisa Portal Only: For online applications — the only legitimate portal is visa2egypt.gov.eg — operated exclusively by the Egyptian Ministry of Interior. Rayna Tours submits all Egypt eVisa applications exclusively through this official government portal.

Route 4 — Visa on Arrival (VOA)
