Night Safari Singapore

The Night Safari is a wildlife park at Mandai Lake Road, next to Singapore Zoo, built around nocturnal animals rather than daytime species. It opened in 1994 as the world's first park designed specifically for viewing animals after dark, and a visit typically takes two to three hours.

Inside, the park is lit with artificial moonlight so the animals behave as they would in the wild, and its trails and habitats are grouped into zones such as the Himalayan Foothills, Indian Subcontinent and Equatorial Africa. You can walk trails including the Leopard Trail and Fishing Cat Trail for a closer look, or ride the tram for a wider overview of the park in a single loop. Along the way you may spot elephants, hyenas, civets and other nocturnal species moving through habitats built to resemble their natural homes. The two aviaries are also worth a stop, home to species such as the Malayan flying fox and the giant flying squirrel.

The park also stages the Creatures of the Night Show, featuring some of its nocturnal residents. 1. You will receive your confirmation voucher with a QR code by email shortly after booking.
2. Check your spam or junk folder if it has not arrived, and contact our support team if you still cannot find it.
3. Use the booking code shown below the QR code on your voucher to reserve your visit date and time slot on the official Mandai booking site before you go.

• Carry a valid photo ID or passport, as it must be shown at the entrance.
• Pre-book your visit slot at least 72 hours in advance where possible, since slots are subject to availability.
• If you do not report on time, it is treated as a no-show, with no rescheduling or refund.
• Strollers and wheelchairs are available to rent at the park on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Flash photography and flashlights are not allowed, to avoid disturbing the animals and other visitors.
• Children must always be accompanied by an adult.
• Provide the exact hotel address at booking if you have selected a transfer.
• Roundtrip hotel transfer, where selected, runs between 7:30 am and 10:00 pm and picks up from Geylang Lor 1-22, Little India, Orchard, Tanjong Pagar, Chinatown and Village Hotel Bugis.
