Bird Paradise Singapore is Asia's largest bird park, part of the Mandai Wildlife Reserve next to Singapore Zoo and Night Safari. Home to more than 3,500 birds from over 400 species across eight walk-through aviaries, it makes for a half-day to full-day visit, with the park open from about 9 am to 6 pm.

At the entrance, an artificial 10-metre waterfall modelled on Indonesia's Madakaripura Waterfall sets the tone before you step into the aviaries. Each zone recreates a different world: the humid greenery of Amazonia Jewels, the colourful birdlife of Wings of Asia, and the dense canopy of Heart of Africa and Mysterious Papua. In Songs of the Forest you can listen for calls echoing through the trees, while Crimson Wetlands is anchored by a 20-metre waterfall inspired by the original Jurong Bird Park. At the Winged Sanctuary, look out for endangered species such as the Philippine eagle, blue-throated macaw, and Vietnam pheasant. Bird shows such as Predators on Wings and Wings of the World add a scheduled highlight, and Penguin Cove lets you watch King, Gentoo, and Northern Rockhopper penguins in a naturalistic habitat.

Rayna Tours' local team handles your booking and voucher support from start to finish. Pair your visit with a Singapore City Tour to see more of the city's attractions, or add the Singapore Zoo with Tram Ride for another wildlife outing.
