Singapore River Wonders, part of the Mandai Wildlife Reserve, is the first river-themed wildlife park in Asia, home to more than 10,000 animals across ten zones modelled on the world's great rivers. It sits next to Singapore Zoo, Night Safari, and Bird Paradise, and makes for a half-day visit, with the park open from 10 am to 7 pm.

The zones recreate river habitats from the Amazon Flooded Forest, Mekong, Congo, Yangtze, Mississippi, Mary, Nile, and Ganges rivers, showcasing more than 400 plant species and 250 animal species, including around 40 that are rare or endangered. The Amazon Flooded Forest holds the world's largest freshwater aquarium, where you can see manatees, electric eels, red-bellied piranhas, and giant river otters through its viewing windows. At the Giant Panda Forest, look out for red pandas and giant pandas. The Amazon River Quest takes you aboard an open-top boat along the park's Amazon-themed waterway, where you can spot animals such as jaguars, giant anteaters, and Brazilian tapirs from the water. Round off your visit with Once Upon a River, an animal show staged at the park.

• Arrive on time for your slot; a no-show forfeits the booking with no rescheduling or refund.
• Strollers and wheelchairs are available for rent inside the park on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
• This ticket does not include hotel transfers, so you will need to make your own way to the park.
