Singapore City Tour With Guide

This half-day guided city tour takes you through Singapore's best known landmarks, from Merlion Park to Chinatown and Little India, with a roundtrip hotel transfer and an English-speaking guide included. The tour runs from around 9:45 am to about 1:30 pm.

Your driver-guide collects you from your hotel lobby between 9:45 am and 10:15 am, depending on your hotel's location on the route, and the group sets off together for the morning to begin the city tour.

The first stop is Merlion Park, where you can take photos beside the Merlion, the half-lion, half-fish figure that has come to represent Singapore. The statue was sculpted in 1972 and stands 8.6 meters tall, with the Marina Bay skyline as a backdrop. From here, the drive continues past Marina Bay Sands, the Parliament House and the Fountain of Wealth at Suntec City, giving you a look at Singapore's business district and its modern architecture.

The tour then heads toward Orchard Road for a look at the city's main shopping strip, with a stop near the Singapore Flyer along the way. A visit to a duty-free shopping outlet is included, before the guide takes you through Chinatown and Little India, with a stop at a Chinese or Buddhist temple, so you can see two of the city's most distinct districts in the same morning.

The tour wraps up with a drop-off back at your hotel around 1:30 pm.
