This visit to an Elephant Jungle Sanctuary camp in Chiang Mai's San Pa Tong district centres on a hands-on elephant feeding session. The camp operates daily from 8:30 am to 5 pm, and an English or Thai-speaking guide accompanies you throughout the visit.

Once at the camp, the guide introduces you to the resident elephants and shows you how to prepare and offer food for them by hand, sharing background on each animal along the way. Snacks, tea, coffee and drinking water are provided during the visit, and food for the elephants themselves is included as part of the experience, so you do not need to buy anything extra on site. Travellers who choose the feed-and-shower option also get to help bathe the elephants after the feeding session.

Insurance is included for the visit, and a hotel transfer is arranged as part of the booking. Rayna's local team in Thailand handles the pickup and support details, so help is on hand before and during your day at the camp.
