Royal Park Rajapruek

Royal Park Rajapruek is a 200 acre botanical garden around 10 kilometers from central Chiang Mai. It was established in 2006 to mark King Bhumibol Adulyadej's 80th birthday and the 60th anniversary of his accession to the throne, and later became a permanent public garden.

Inside, the park is organized into themed gardens representing more than 30 countries, alongside a large orchid garden and displays of Siam tulips and other flowering plants. The Ho Kham Luang Royal Pavilion, built in traditional Lanna style, is the park's architectural centerpiece and one of its most photographed spots. Paths wind between the gardens at an easy pace, so you can spend as much or as little time as you like in each section, whether that is the orchid house, the international gardens or the pavilion grounds.
