The Tagaytay Day Tour takes you from Manila to the cool highland town of Tagaytay, one of the more peaceful destinations near the capital, home to Taal Lake and Taal Volcano, one of the world's smallest active volcanoes. The tour runs with a roundtrip hotel transfer and an English-speaking driver.

Your driver collects you from your Manila hotel and drives you into the highlands, with tolls, parking, and fuel covered as part of the package. The cooler mountain air is a noticeable change from Manila's heat as soon as you arrive, and the lake surrounds the volcano in a way that makes the whole scene look almost painted.

The tour's centerpiece is People's Park in the Sky, sitting roughly 640 metres above sea level, where you get open views over Taal Lake, Taal Volcano, and the surrounding highlands, along with the ruins of an unfinished 1980s mansion that has become a small attraction of its own. From here, the route continues to Picnic Grove, a park with viewing decks over the highlands and pine-covered slopes; ziplining and horseback riding are available here for an extra fee.

Along the way, the route can also take in other Tagaytay landmarks, among them the Pink Sisters convent, Our Lady of Lourdes parish, Sky Ranch Tagaytay's carnival-style rides, Calereuga Church, and Mahogany Market, known for its local produce. The volcanic activity that shaped this region has left a distinctive terrain, and combined with the lake views and lush greenery, Tagaytay is a rewarding stop if you enjoy photography, with the parks and viewpoints along the route built for it.

At the end of the day, your driver returns you to your Manila hotel. Rayna's local team arranges your driver and transfer, so the logistics of the day, from pickup to drop-off, are taken care of.
