Underwater World

Underwater World Pattaya sits on Sukhumvit Road, a short walk from the Big C Supercenter, and is Pattaya's only aquarium. It is home to more than 5,000 marine creatures from over 500 species across sea and freshwater habitats, and a visit typically takes a couple of hours.

The visit starts at the Touch Pool, where you can handle bamboo sharks, sea stars and rays, before you pass aquariums holding green sea turtles and blood parrot cichlids on the way to the main tunnel. The roughly 105-meter underwater tunnel holds nearly four million liters of water across three zones: Coral Reef, with its corals and tropical fish; Open Ocean, where eagle rays and black-tip sharks pass overhead; and Giant of Siam, built around a shipwreck tank. Beyond the tunnel, one of Thailand's largest jellyfish collections rounds out the walk, and scheduled feeding shows for sharks, rays and tropical fish run through the day.
