Jeddah VIP Desert Safari

The Jeddah VIP Desert Safari is a 7-hour outing, from 2:30 pm to 9:30 pm, built around a wider run of desert activities than a standard safari: 4x4 dune bashing, quad biking, sand dune skiing, camel riding, rope tugging, volleyball and a multi-course BBQ dinner at a dedicated desert camp.

Roundtrip hotel transfer can be added to your booking as an option; without it, you will need to make your own way to the desert camp on the outskirts of Jeddah. Either way, a professional guide is on hand at the camp for the full 7 hours.

Afternoon dune bashing and rides (2:30 pm onwards)

The safari opens with a 4x4 dune bashing session, an experienced driver taking the vehicle over the dunes while you take in the open desert scenery around the camp. From there, you can try a camel ride at a slower pace, take a quad bike out on your own, or head down the slopes on a dune ski. Each activity gives you a different way of covering the same stretch of sand, and you can move between them at your own pace rather than following a fixed order.

Games and mountaineering

Between rides, the camp keeps things moving with rope tugging games and volleyball, and a hiking and mountain climbing session across the nearby dunes adds a more active stretch to the afternoon, away from the vehicles. This is also where the VIP extras come in, with a special seating area set aside for your group throughout the day.

Evening at the camp

As the light fades, the camp shifts into its evening mode. A campfire, karaoke and the special seating area set the scene, and a multi-course BBQ dinner, with a selection of hot and cold drinks and snacks, keeps everyone fed through to the 9:30 pm finish.
