Dune Bashing Safari Jeddah

Dune Bashing Safari Jeddah is a 6-hour desert outing, from 2:30 pm to 8:30 pm, centered on a 4x4 dune bashing session in the Al Bahra desert, alongside quad biking, sandboarding and a run of camp activities before dinner.

Transportation to the desert camp can be added to your booking for an additional fee; without it, hotel pickup is not included and you would need your own way to Al Bahra. A professional guide is with the group for the full 6 hours either way.

4x4 dune bashing and quad biking

Once you reach the Al Bahra desert, you transfer into a 4x4 vehicle for the dune bashing session, an experienced driver taking the vehicle over the dunes while you take in the desert scenery around you. Afterward, you can take a quad bike out on your own across the sand, no previous riding experience required, or strap onto a sandboard for a run down the slopes. Between the three, you get a proper feel for the terrain rather than a single quick pass through it.

Camp activities

Back at the camp, rope tugging games, a hiking and mountaineering session, volleyball, swings and board games keep the group busy between the off-road activities, giving you a few different ways to spend the afternoon rather than waiting around between rides. None of it needs prior experience, so you can join in as much or as little as you like.

Campfire and dinner

As the safari winds down, a campfire and dinner with unlimited beverages bring the afternoon to a close, with the tour wrapping up around 8:30 pm. The pace slows here after the off-road stretch, giving you time to sit and unwind before heading back.
