Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo

Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo sits inside Dubai Mall, built around a 10-million-liter tank that rises from the ground floor up to the third level. It is home to more than 33,000 marine animals, including rays and sharks, and holds the Guinness World Record for the world's largest acrylic viewing panel.

A walk through the 48-meter acrylic underwater tunnel lets you see sea creatures moving overhead from below the tank. In the Underwater Zoo, look out for King Croc, a crocodile that weighs over 750 kilograms, alongside pelagic fish, piranhas, and snakes. Penguin Cove is home to the aquarium's Gentoo penguins. Beyond general entry, optional add-on experiences let you get closer to the water, including shark dives, cage snorkeling, a shark walker experience, specialty dives, ray and shark feeding sessions, and a glass-bottom boat ride over the tank.
