Mega Safari with Dinner in Ras Al Khaimah is an evening desert excursion that adds a choice of dune buggy, quad bike or camel riding on top of the standard dune-bashing drive, camp activities and BBQ dinner. The full experience runs from around 5:00 pm to 10:30 pm, taking you from the city out into the dunes and back.

Dune bashing and a ride of your choice

The evening opens with a 50-minute dune-bashing drive with a professional driver, climbing and dropping over the sand in a 4x4. From there, you get a further 30 minutes on a dune buggy, quad bike or camel, depending on your preference and availability on the day, before stopping at a traditional camel farm for a closer look at the camels and photos.

Culture and entertainment at the camp

Back at the desert camp, henna artists apply patterns on request while you relax at the shisha corner. As the evening goes on, live performances take over the main stage one after another: belly dancing, a folkloric Tanoura dance, a dragon fire show, a camel show and a sparkle show, keeping the entertainment running until dinner winds down.

Dinner is served as an open BBQ buffet with vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, alongside unlimited soft drinks, water, Arabic coffee, dates and tea, so you can eat at your own pace while the performances continue.
