Desert Safari with Dinner in Ras Al Khaimah is an evening excursion into the desert combining dune bashing, camel encounters, live entertainment and a BBQ dinner. The full experience runs from around 5:00 pm to 10:30 pm, taking you from the city out to the dunes and back.

Dune bashing and the camel farm

The evening starts with a 50-minute dune-bashing drive across Ras Al Khaimah's dunes with a professional driver at the wheel, climbing and dropping over the sand in a 4x4. Along the way, there are two stops for refreshments and photos, giving you a chance to step out and take in the scenery before continuing. From there, you visit a traditional camel farm, where you can see the camels up close in their surroundings and take a ride across the sand for photos.

Evening at the desert camp

Once you reach the camp, henna artists apply patterns on request while you relax at the shisha corner. As the sun goes down over the dunes, the entertainment lineup takes over the main stage: belly dancing, a folkloric Tanoura dance, a dragon fire show, a camel show and a sparkle show, one after another as the evening continues.

Dinner is served as an open BBQ buffet with vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, alongside unlimited soft drinks, water, Arabic coffee, dates and tea, so you can eat at your own pace while the performances continue around you.
