The Petronas Twin Towers are Kuala Lumpur's defining landmark, standing at approximately 452 meters and holding the record as the world's tallest twin structure. Inaugurated in 1999, the towers held the title of the world's tallest building until Taipei 101 opened in 2004, and later Dubai's Burj Khalifa in 2009.

Designed by architect Cesar Pelli, the towers combine a steel-and-glass facade with Malaysian cultural motifs, including Islamic geometric patterns and designs inspired by songket weaving and bertam palm matting. Your visit begins on the double-decker Skybridge, the highest bridge of its kind, connecting the two towers at the 41st and 42nd floors around 170 meters up; being a suspended structure, it can sway slightly in strong wind. From there, an elevator takes you up to the 86th-floor Observation Deck, where floor-to-ceiling windows frame close-up views of the towers' spires alongside sweeping views of Kuala Lumpur, and interactive displays explain the building's design and history.

The ticket covers the Skybridge and Observation Deck, and you can extend your visit to nearby attractions in the same complex, including Suria KLCC Shopping Centre, the Petronas Art Gallery, the Philharmonic Orchestra Hall and the aquarium. Rayna Tours' local team handles your booking and is on hand for support before your visit.
