This guided city tour of Kuala Lumpur takes in the capital's landmark quarter over a full day, from the King's Palace and National Mosque to a stop at East Coast Batik, before ending with admission to the Petronas Twin Towers' Skybridge and observation deck.
An English-speaking driver-guide collects you from your hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle to begin the day's sightseeing. The route heads first to the city centre, where the guide points out the landmarks along the way and shares background on each stop.
The tour visits the National Palace, also known as the King's Palace, for its architecture and grounds, viewed from outside, followed by the National Mosque, which can accommodate up to 15,000 worshippers, and the Old Railway Station, recognizable for its Moorish-style domes and arches.
From there, the tour continues to Independence Square, with a stop for photos at the well-known 'I Love KL' statue, and on to the historic river confluence, the point where the Klang and Gombak rivers meet and where Kuala Lumpur began. The route also passes through the Golden Triangle before a stop at East Coast Batik and Beryl's Chocolate Kingdom, where you can see hand-painted batik design and sample chocolate treats.
The day ends at the Petronas Twin Towers, where your admission includes both the double-decker Skybridge, connecting the two towers partway up, and the observation deck near the top, where a high-speed elevator ride takes you more than 370 meters above the city for views over Kuala Lumpur's skyline.
Rayna Tours' own driver-guides run this tour from pickup to drop-off, so you have a direct point of contact throughout the day, on top of the views from the Twin Towers.
