Genting SkyWorlds Outdoor Theme Park sits about 6,000 feet up in the Titiwangsa Mountains at Genting Highlands, roughly an hour from Kuala Lumpur. Spread over 26 acres, it is one of the few theme parks built on a mountaintop, and a full day is enough to work through its zones, rides and shows.

Inside, the park is divided into zones themed around action, adventure and film, including Central Park, Rio, Liberty Lane, Andromeda Base, Epic, Robots, Rivet Town and Ice Age. Rides such as Alpha Fighter Pilots, the Terraform Tower Challenge, Rivet Town Roller, Mammoth Fun Zone, Invasion of the Planet of the Apes, Epic Hummingbird Flyers and Ice Age: Expedition Thin Ice run throughout the park, each with its own minimum height requirement posted at the ride entrance. Between rides, entertainment shows and interactive activities run regularly, and the mountain air stays noticeably cooler than down in Kuala Lumpur.
