English

This full day tour covers three destinations in one outing: Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya and Batu Caves. Your own driver-guide takes you through all three in an air-conditioned vehicle over about eight hours, with English commentary throughout.

A roundtrip hotel transfer collects you in the morning to begin the day. Your guide sets the route so the three stops flow into one loop, starting in Kuala Lumpur before heading out to Putrajaya and then on to Batu Caves.

Kuala Lumpur's landmarks

The day begins with a drive through Kuala Lumpur, taking in the city's best-known buildings from the vehicle and at photo stops along the way. Your guide points out KL Tower, the Petronas Twin Towers, the National Mosque and Istana Negara, the national palace, explaining the history behind each as you pass.

Putrajaya's modern architecture

From Kuala Lumpur, the tour continues to Putrajaya, Malaysia's administrative capital about 25 kilometres south of the city. Here you see the Putra Mosque, built from rose-tinted granite that gives it a distinctive pink hue, along with the Perdana Putra government building, the Palace of Justice, the Iron Mosque and the Seri Gemilang Bridge over Putrajaya Lake.

Batu Caves

The day ends at Batu Caves, a limestone hill formed more than 400 million years ago and home to a set of Hindu cave temples. A towering golden statue of Lord Murugan marks the base of the climb, where 272 rainbow-painted steps lead up to the main cave temple.

Your guide stays with you at each stop before the transfer returns you to your hotel at the end of the day. Rayna Tours' own driver-guides handle the tour from pickup to drop-off, giving you a local point of contact throughout.
