Motiongate Dubai

MOTIONGATE Dubai is one of the largest Hollywood movie-themed parks in the region, set within Dubai Parks and Resorts on Sheikh Zayed Road. The park brings together attractions from three studios, Columbia Pictures, DreamWorks Animation and Lionsgate, spread across five zones with close to 30 rides. A visit typically fills a full day, from the 11 am opening to the 8 pm close.

Start at Studio Central, where real film sets and a working studio give a feel for how movies get made. The Columbia Pictures zone has seven interactive rides drawn from titles such as Hotel Transylvania and Ghostbusters, including the River Expedition water ride. DreamWorks is an indoor zone with 12 play areas covering Madagascar, Shrek and Kung Fu Panda, mixing family rides with rollercoasters. Smurfs Village recreates the mushroom-shaped houses from the films for younger visitors, and Lionsgate closes the loop with Hunger Games-inspired rides, live shows and dining.

Dubai Parks and Resorts also include three other parks such as, LEGOLAND Dubai, and LEGOLAND Water Park which you can access with the right combo pass. Apart from this, Dubai is also home to IMG Dubai which is the world’s largest indoor theme park.<

1. Check your email for the ticket confirmation after booking, and check your spam folder if it hasn't arrived.
2. Download the ticket to your phone or print it out.
3. Present it at the venue turnstile for scanning to enter the park.

• Carry a photo ID with you, it may be requested at entry.
• Hotel pickup, where booked, is arranged from your Dubai hotel or residence only.
• Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
• Outside food and drinks are not allowed inside the park.
• Transfer timings can shift by 30 to 60 minutes depending on traffic and your pickup location.
• Parking is free for visitors; valet service is available at an extra cost (excluding buggy drop-off).
• Some rides may be closed for maintenance or upgrades and are subject to availability.
• Eating, drinking and smoking are not permitted inside the transfer vehicle.
