Private Balloon Flights

A hot air balloon flight over the Arabian Desert at sunrise, with the entire basket reserved for your own group. Flying out of Margham inside the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve, the balloon lifts off before dawn and stays airborne for about an hour before landing back on the sand.

Before dawn

A roundtrip hotel transfer collects you ahead of sunrise for the drive out to the launch site, with the full experience, from pickup to drop-off, typically running from around 4:30 am to 8:00 am. You get to watch the balloon being inflated and spread out on the ground using high-powered burners, a rare look at the preparation that goes into every flight. Your pilot then briefs you on safety before you climb into the basket alongside your group.

Sunrise flight

As the balloon lifts off, it climbs to around 4,000 feet, opening up 360 degree views across the dunes, the desert's wildlife and its scattered oases inside the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve. You watch the sun rise over the sand as the balloon drifts, with the whole basket kept exclusively for your party, a setting that works well for a birthday, a wedding proposal or an anniversary. The flight runs for approximately one hour before you touch back down.

Once you land, you sit down to a full breakfast and receive a flight certificate signed by your pilot to keep as a memento. A roundtrip hotel transfer then takes you back to your accommodation. 1. Keep your voucher, digital or printed, ready and be at the pickup point on time.
2. Show your voucher to the representative for verification.
3. Once verified, sit back and enjoy the ride out to the launch site.

• A passport or Emirates ID copy for each passenger is required at booking and must be uploaded online at least 24 hours before the flight, with a signed waiver form completed on site, in line with Gulf Civil Aviation Authority rules. Guests without these documents cannot fly.
• A valid WhatsApp number is required at booking so the team can confirm your pickup time and share updates.
• Your exact pickup time, usually between 7:00 pm and 8:30 pm, is shared the evening before the flight.
• Arrive at the pickup point at least 10 minutes early. Late arrival can lead to the flight being cancelled for the whole group.
• Children under 5, adults over 70, and guests above the 119 kg weight limit without prior pilot approval cannot fly.
• Pregnant women are not permitted to fly.
• Guests must be in good physical condition and able to climb in and out of the basket and hold a brace position for landing.
• Guests with disabilities, including mental health, emotional, and physical conditions, are not allowed to participate.
• This flight is not suitable for guests with heart conditions, serious knee or back problems, major surgery within the past six months, a fear of heights, or any condition that could affect safety in flight.
• Wear comfortable, casual clothing and closed shoes. Avoid high heels.
• Guests under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted to fly, and heavy luggage cannot be carried on board.
• Flights depend on weather conditions and the pilot's judgment. If a flight is cancelled for weather, you will be offered the next available date or a full refund.
• Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the tour receive a full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours are not refunded.
