Balloon Flights with a vintage car ride combines a sunrise hot air balloon flight over the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve with a 1950s Land Rover drive across the dunes. The morning runs from around 4:30 am to 8 am, door to door.

Early pickup and briefing

A 4x4 roundtrip transfer collects you from your hotel in the early hours; your exact pickup time is confirmed the evening before. At the launch site, your crew greets you with Arabic coffee, tea and dates, and runs through the safety briefing before you board the balloon.

Sunrise over the desert (60 minutes)

The balloon lifts off and climbs above the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve, reaching over 4,000 feet as the sun comes up. From that height you can pick out the reserve's undisturbed dunes and look for Arabian wildlife such as oryx and gazelle while the sky changes colour around you.

Vintage Land Rover and camel ride

Once you land, a restored 1950s Land Rover takes over for a 30-minute drive across the dunes, tracing the same terrain at ground level. A short camel ride follows, the way early desert travellers once crossed these sands.

Bedouin breakfast and keepsakes

The morning ends with a buffet breakfast set up in the desert. Before the transfer back, you receive a flight certificate signed by your pilot and traditional souvenirs such as a ghutra and sheila scarf to take home for the memory.

• A copy of Emirates ID or passport is required for each passenger at booking, per GCAA aviation regulations.
• Upload your ID or passport at the check-in link at least 24 hours before the flight, and sign the waiver form on site.
• A valid WhatsApp number is required so the team can share your pickup time and updates.
• The exact pickup time is shared the evening before, typically between 7 pm and 8:30 pm.
• Be ready at least 10 minutes before pickup; delays can result in the flight being cancelled for you.
• Pickup and drop-off times may shift by 30 to 60 minutes depending on traffic and location.
• Children under 5 and guests over 70 are not permitted to fly, and the maximum weight limit is 119 kg.
• Pregnant women, and guests with heart conditions, serious knee or back problems, or recent major surgery, should not fly; all guests must be able to climb into the basket and bend into a brace position for landing.
• Guests with disabilities, including mental health, emotional or physical conditions, cannot take part.
• Comfortable, casual clothing and closed shoes are recommended; avoid high heels, and alcohol or drug use before the flight is not permitted.
• Flights are weather dependent; the pilot decides whether to proceed, and a cancelled flight is rebooked or fully refunded.
• Cancelling within 48 hours of departure, or a no-show, is non-refundable; cancelling 48 hours or more ahead gets a full refund.
