Breakfast in the Sky pairs a one-hour hot air balloon flight over the Arabian Desert with a full breakfast served on board, followed by a dune buggy session back on the ground. The experience runs from around 4:30 am to 8 am.

Your pickup time is confirmed by WhatsApp the evening before the flight, typically between 7 pm and 8:30 pm, and you will need to be ready at the meeting point at least 10 minutes early.

Balloon launch (from 4:30 am)

At the launch site in the middle of the desert, you are welcomed with gahwa, tea, coffee, and cookies while the crew runs through safety procedures and the balloon is inflated with its burners running. Once it stands upright, you board the basket for takeoff. From the air, at around 4,000 feet, you can see the sun rise over the dunes, take in the golden desert landscape below, and spot wildlife such as Arabian oryx and camels moving across the sand.

Breakfast on board

The flight's centerpiece is a full breakfast served in the basket as you drift over the desert, with fresh seasonal fruit, main course dishes, and desserts brought to you with butler service so you can focus on the view rather than logistics.

After landing

After a safe landing, the morning continues with a one-hour dune buggy session on the desert sands. You leave with a flight certificate signed by the pilot, plus photos and video captured during the flight to keep as a record of the morning.

1. Keep your voucher, printed or on your phone, ready and be at the pickup point on time.
2. Show your voucher to the Rayna Tours representative for verification.
3. Once verified, board the vehicle for your transfer to the launch site.

• An Emirates ID or passport copy is required for every passenger at the time of booking, in line with Gulf Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) regulations.
• Upload your ID or passport at the balloon flights waiver link at least 24 hours before the flight, and sign the waiver form on site before boarding; flying is not permitted without these documents.
• A valid WhatsApp number is required at booking so the team can confirm your pickup time and share updates.
• Your exact pickup time is sent to you the day before your flight, usually between 7 pm and 8:30 pm; be ready at least 10 minutes early, as a delay can cancel the flight for the whole group.
• A hotel transfer is available from other emirates; contact the team to arrange this.
• Children under 5, adults over 70, and guests over 119 kg without pilot approval cannot fly.
• Pregnant women are not permitted to fly.
• Guests should be in good physical condition, able to climb in and out of the basket unassisted, and hold a brace position for landing; the activity is not recommended for anyone with heart conditions, serious knee or back problems, recent major surgery, or a fear of heights.
• This flight is not suitable for guests with certain physical, mental health, or emotional conditions, in line with the operator's safety requirements.
• Alcohol and drugs are strictly prohibited before flying, and heavy luggage cannot be carried on board.
• Wear comfortable, casual clothing and closed shoes or boots, and avoid high heels.
• Flights are weather dependent and the pilot has final authority to cancel for safety; a weather cancellation is rebooked for the next available date or fully refunded. Cancellations made 48 hours or more before departure are also fully refunded, while cancelling within 48 hours forfeits the full amount, with approved refunds processed in 5 to 11 business days.
