Private Desert Safari Dubai

This desert safari takes you into the desert outside the city for an afternoon and evening built around dune bashing, a Bedouin-style camp and a BBQ dinner, with pickup from your hotel around 3 pm and an experienced local guide leading the way.

A roundtrip hotel transfer collects you from your hotel around 3 pm, taking only your own party in the vehicle for the ride out to the desert, so it is unhurried from the start.

Dune bashing across the desert tracks

Once you reach the open desert, the 4x4 dune bash begins, an experienced driver taking the vehicle over steep rises and drops across the sand tracks. Traveling with just your own group, you can enjoy the ride at your own pace, with plenty of room to react to each climb and descent. The route also takes in sunset views over the dunes on the way to the desert camp.

Bedouin camp activities

At the camp, a henna artist applies traditional designs, and you can smoke shisha, take photos in traditional Emirati costume, and ride a camel around the camp grounds. Sandboarding and a quad bike session are available at the camp for an additional charge, if you would like to add more activity to the evening. Bedouin-style tents give you a place to relax between activities as the sun goes down.

BBQ dinner and evening shows

As evening sets in, you sit down to a BBQ dinner with a variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, along with unlimited refreshments and soft drinks throughout. A Tanura show and belly dancing performance run around the camp during dinner, followed by a fire show that closes out the evening's entertainment.

1. Shortly after booking, you will receive a tour confirmation voucher by email; check your spam or junk folder if it does not arrive, and let us know if you still cannot find it.
2. Present your voucher, printed or on your mobile device, to the driver on arrival for verification.

• Children under 16 may take part in the standard desert safari activities but are not permitted to smoke shisha or ride the quad bike/dune buggy.
• Infants are not permitted to take part in dune bashing and must be accompanied by a guardian at all times during the safari.
• Pregnant women or people with back problems are not recommended to take this tour, due to the dune bashing activity involved.
• There is no refund for partly utilized services.
• Avoid bringing heavy luggage, as it cannot be accommodated during the safari.
• A food menu is available on request so you can check what is served at the camp before booking.
• Eating, drinking and smoking inside the vehicle are not permitted during the transfer.
• If your pickup location is far from the standard collection points, our operations team will coordinate a convenient meeting point with you in advance.
