Fujairah-East Coast Tour

The Fujairah-East Coast Tour takes you out of Dubai to the UAE's east coast, where the Hajar Mountains meet the Gulf of Oman. Running from around 9 am to 5 pm, the day covers Al Bidyah Mosque, Fujairah Fort, Fujairah Museum, Khorfakkan Beach, and the Friday Market.

Drive to Fujairah

You are collected from your hotel or residence in Dubai (Deira, Bur Dubai, Sheikh Zayed Road, or Marina) for the drive to Fujairah. The route runs through the Hajar Mountains, with the scenery changing from Dubai's skyline to rugged mountains and coastline along the way.

Al Bidyah Mosque and Fujairah's history

Al Bidyah Mosque is the first stop, one of the oldest mosques in the UAE and believed to date back to the 15th century. Built from mud brick rather than the marble of Dubai's newer mosques, it has a simple, low-domed design that sets it apart. From there, the tour continues to Fujairah Fort and Fujairah Museum, which covers the region's history.

Khorfakkan Beach and the Friday Market

The tour also stops at Khorfakkan Beach, known for its coastline, and the Friday Market, where local vendors sell fruit, plants, and handicrafts. An English speaking guide travels with the group throughout, explaining each site as you go, so there is context behind what you are looking at rather than just a quick photo stop.
