Sharjah City Tour from Dubai

This full-day tour takes you from Dubai to Sharjah, recognized in 1998 as the Cultural Capital of the Arab World and in 2014 as the Capital of Islamic Culture. The tour covers the emirate's coastline, museums and souks, running from around 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with transfers to and from Dubai included.

A roundtrip transfer collects you from your Dubai hotel in the morning and returns you there once the Sharjah tour concludes in the afternoon, so no separate travel arrangements are needed for the day.

Sharjah Corniche and waterfront

Your tour vehicle drives along the Sharjah Corniche and its waterfront areas, giving you a look at the city's coastline. You can also step out to walk along the Corniche and take photos before continuing to the cultural sites inland.

Sharjah Museum of Islamic Civilization and King Faisal Mosque

The Sharjah Museum of Islamic Civilization is the centrepiece of the tour, with exhibits on Islamic art, history and culture spread across its galleries and displays. The route also takes in the Islamic Art Museum and King Faisal Mosque, a prominent Sharjah mosque completed in 1987 with capacity for more than 16,000 worshippers.

Blue Souk and Qanat Al Qasba

Your tour also stops at the Blue Souk, one of Sharjah's main shopping areas, where stalls sell jewelry, clothing, handicrafts, antiques, rugs and cosmetics, and at the nearby Fish Market, known for its clean, well-organized stalls of fresh produce and seafood. You then visit Qanat Al Qasba, a waterfront area with the Eye of the Emirates wheel, the Maraya Art Centre, and a mix of restaurants and shops.
