Kayaking Experience in Dubai

Kayaking off Palm Jumeirah lets you paddle Dubai's calm coastal waters at your own pace, solo or side by side in a tandem kayak, on a session that runs 30 or 60 minutes. It is a straightforward, low-key way to spend part of your day on the water without needing any special equipment of your own.

No previous kayaking experience is required. Before you head out, an expert guide gives you a safety briefing and paddling instructions, and you set off in a modern sea kayak once you are comfortable with the basics. You should be able to swim and paddle independently, and participants generally need to weigh between 45 and 100 kilograms so the kayak stays stable in the water. Arrive about 10 minutes early so there is time to get fitted with a life jacket before the briefing begins.

Out on the water, you paddle along Dubai's coastline, taking in the skyline and the modern architecture that lines Palm Jumeirah and the wider coast from a different vantage point than you get on land. Kayaking stays within designated safe zones, so you can focus on the paddling and the scenery rather than navigation, and you can set your own pace throughout, from a relaxed drift to a more active paddle.

Whichever session length or kayak you choose, all the safety gear and guidance you need is included, and Rayna's on-ground team is on hand at the launch point throughout, with an optional hotel transfer available if you would like one added to your booking.
