Where a transfer is included in your chosen option, you are collected from your Dubai hotel or residence for the drive to Dibba, passing through Sharjah, Umm Al Quwain, and Ras Al Khaimah before crossing into Oman. Our team handles the visa and border crossing paperwork needed to enter Musandam, so you only need your original passport and, if you are a UAE resident, your Emirates ID. The road itself is part of the day, with the scenery shifting from the UAE's coastal emirates to the rugged Hajar Mountains as you near the border.

Dhow cruise along the fjords

At Dibba harbour, you board a traditional Omani dhow finished in Bedouin-style decor for a cruise along the fjord-like coastline, with the Hajar Mountains rising on either side. There is a chance of spotting dolphins along the way. A banana boat ride adds a faster stretch to the otherwise gentle sail.

Lunch and water activities

A continental buffet lunch is served onboard, with vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. If you want to get into the water, bring your own swimwear, and fishing gear if you plan to fish, for a swim or a snorkel in the clear waters around the boat, with the mountains framing the view on every side.

• Prior permission is required for every guest to enter Musandam Dibba, and our team collects your passport and visa details to process it.
• Processing can take up to 3 working days for UAE residents and around 24 hours for tourists, so book with enough lead time.
• Carry your original passport, valid for at least 6 months, and your Emirates ID if you are a UAE resident, valid for at least 3 months.
• Bring your own swimwear and fishing equipment if you plan to swim or fish during the stop.
• Luggage is not permitted during the activities, so travel light on the day.
• Banana boat rides and other water activities depend on sea and weather conditions on the day, and tour timings can shift for the same reason.
• If you book without a transfer, plan to arrive at the departure point at least 30 minutes before the cruise departs.
• On the shared transfer, pickup times can vary by 30 to 60 minutes depending on traffic; pickup points include Deira, Bur Dubai, and Sheikh Zayed Road up to Dubai Marina.
• Eating, drinking, and smoking are not permitted in the transfer vehicle.
• A border crossing fee is payable directly at the Oman border and is not included in your booking.
• There is no refund for partially used services or no-shows, and the tour is subject to availability.
