The Heritage Street Food Tour is a guided walking tour through some of old Dubai's ethnic neighborhoods, with a 5:00 pm start at Al Seef on Dubai Creek. Over the course of the evening, you sample authentic street food, ride a traditional abra across the creek, and browse the stalls of the Spice Souk before the tour ends.

A flavorful walk through Al Seef

The tour begins in Al Seef, a waterfront promenade in old Dubai, where you walk through its narrow lanes trying authentic street food such as shawarma, falafel and dates' chocolate. Your guide shares the neighborhood's history and the cultural roots behind each snack as you go, and the evening also includes a separate, culturally themed dining stop alongside the street bites.

An abra ride across Dubai Creek

From there, you board a traditional wooden abra for a ride along Dubai Creek, a short and calm stretch of the tour that gives you time to rest your legs between the walking sections while you take in the view of old Dubai's buildings set against the modern skyline behind them.

The Spice Souk and bazaars

The tour closes at Dubai's Arabic bazaars, including the Spice Souk, where you walk past stalls piled with spices, dried fruit and textiles, taking in the colors and scents of a trading tradition that predates the city's modern skyline. It is a walking-paced close to the evening, giving you plenty of time to browse before the tour ends and you part ways with your guide.

Rayna's own guide leads the walk from Al Seef through to the souk, answering questions about the route, the food or the neighborhoods' history along the way, so you have knowledgeable local support with you throughout the evening's stops.
