Abu Dhabi Cultural Heritage Tour

The Abu Dhabi Cultural Heritage Tour is a guided sightseeing trip from Dubai to the UAE capital, with a choice of two itineraries built around either Qasr Al Watan, the presidential palace complex, or the Louvre Abu Dhabi museum. Roundtrip hotel transfers and a guide are included either way.

Morning hotel pickup (approx 8:30 am)

Your day starts with a roundtrip hotel transfer, with pickup at approximately 8:30 am from centrally located hotels and residences in Dubai. If you are staying further out, pickup can be arranged with an advance request and an additional surcharge. Pickup and drop-off timings can vary by 15 to 20 minutes around the scheduled time.

Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque and the Corniche

The tour takes you to the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, the country's largest mosque, known for its all-white domes, a hand-knotted carpet that is one of the largest of its kind, and chandeliers set with Swarovski crystals. From there, you pass along the Corniche, Abu Dhabi's long waterfront promenade, before continuing to your chosen sightseeing option.

Qasr Al Watan or Louvre Abu Dhabi

If you choose the Qasr Al Watan option, you enter part of the presidential palace complex, one of the city's grand civic buildings. If you choose the Louvre Abu Dhabi option instead, you get to see art works by names such as Leonardo da Vinci and Vincent van Gogh. Depending on the tour you pick, the day can also include a stop at Ferrari World on Yas Island, a drive through Saadiyat Island, a visit to Abu Dhabi Heritage Village, or a stop at Date Market.

An experienced guide travels with you throughout the day, providing commentary on each stop and answering questions along the way. There is also a lunch break at Marina Mall, at your own cost, before the roundtrip transfer brings you back to your hotel.

• Dress moderately, since the tour includes a visit to the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque.
• Personal expenses for lunch, shopping, drinks and dining on-site are borne by the guest.
• During Ramadan, eating, drinking and smoking in public spaces during daylight hours is restricted by UAE law.
• Avoid photographing people without their permission, especially in more conservative areas.
• Eating, drinking and smoking inside the vehicle is not permitted during the tour.
