Guided Inside Burj Al Arab Tour

The Guided Inside Burj Al Arab Tour takes you inside one of Dubai's most recognisable hotels on a tour that runs for around 90 minutes. Tours operate daily between 10 am and 7 pm, starting from the IBAA Ticketing Lounge at Jumeirah Beach Hotel.

A buggy collects you at the ticketing lounge and crosses the bridge that links the mainland to the hotel's private island, with stops along the way for photos of the sail-shaped building. An Emirati host greets you at the hotel with rose water and hand towels, and a butler then guides you through the colourful lobby and into the atrium, one of the tallest hotel atriums in the world, lit by fountains and coloured light. A glass elevator takes you up to the 25th floor for a walk through the Royal Suite, where the master bedroom has a rotating bed and the bathroom is finished in marble with 24-carat gold tiles.

The tour continues to the Experience Suite, where digital displays and original architectural sketches show how architect Tom Wright and designer Khuan Chew shaped the building. Arabic coffee and dates are served before the tour ends at the UMA lounge, which looks out over the Arabian Gulf.
