Jebel Jais Zipline from Dubai

The Jebel Jais Zipline takes you across Jebel Jais, the tallest mountain in the UAE, roughly a two hour drive from Dubai into Ras Al Khaimah. The Jebel Jais Flight option covers 2.83 kilometres in a single continuous run, one of the longest ziplines built anywhere, while the Jais Sky Tour option links six shorter ziplines covering five kilometres in total.

After a safety briefing from the on site team, you are fitted with a harness and helmet before stepping onto a transparent launch platform shaped like a falcon. Riders travel face down in a Superman style position along steel cables at speeds of 120 to 150 km/h, with the main Jebel Jais Flight run lasting about three minutes over the mountain terrain below. Parallel cables let two riders fly side by side, so you can go with a friend or family member. The ride finishes at a suspended platform anchored into the rock, with a glass bottomed deck that lets you look straight down at the drop before you complete the course.

• Carry a valid ID or passport for verification before the activity.
• Riders under 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian on the day of the activity.
• You must weigh between 40 kg and 120 kg, and be at least 122 cm tall, to take the ride.
• Wear comfortable athletic clothing and closed toe shoes; skirts, dresses, flip flops and other loose footwear are not allowed.
• Tie back long hair and avoid large accessories such as earrings and bracelets.
• Small lockers are provided for personal items such as bags, wallets, keys and phones.
• Do not attend under the influence of alcohol or any substance that affects judgement, for your own safety.
• Arrive 30 minutes before your booked time slot.
