How to Apply — Azerbaijan Visa Assistance by Rayna Tours

At Rayna Tours, we manage your Azerbaijan visa application completely on your behalf — whether it is a fully digital eVisa or a Visa on Arrival — ensuring your application is accurate, complete, and professionally prepared from start to finish.

Step 1 — Share Your Travel Details & Confirm Payment Provide your country of residence, nationality, intended travel dates, number of applicants, and your preferred visa assistance package. Complete a secure online payment to confirm your booking. A booking confirmation along with your next steps will be sent to your registered email address promptly upon successful payment.

Step 2 — Upload Your Documents via My Booking Once payment is confirmed, you will receive a secure link to My Booking via email. Visit raynatours.com, navigate to the My Booking section, and upload all required documents using your booking reference number and registered email ID. Our team will review and verify your documents and confirm if anything further is required before proceeding.

Step 3 — Visa Route Confirmation & Application Completion Our visa consultants will confirm the correct entry route applicable to your specific passport nationality and residency status — Visa Exempt, Visa on Arrival, or eVisa. For eVisa applicants, the application will be accurately completed and submitted through the official ASAN Visa portal — evisa.gov.az — on your behalf, ensuring zero errors or inconsistencies.

Step 4 — Tracking & eVisa Delivery Our dedicated coordination team will actively monitor the status of your application and keep you informed at every stage. Once approved, your Azerbaijan eVisa will be sent directly to your registered email address as an A4 PDF document. The eVisa must be printed and presented at the Azerbaijan border checkpoint together with your passport — showing it on a mobile phone is not always accepted and a printed copy is strongly recommended.

For Visa on Arrival Applicants (UAE & GCC Residents with 6+ months residency validity · KSA Nationals · and other eligible nationalities)

If you qualify for Visa on Arrival — based on your GCC residency status or passport nationality — no prior application or eVisa is required. Simply carry your valid passport and UAE or GCC Residence Visa to the airport. Upon arrival at Heydar Aliyev International Airport in Baku, proceed to the E-ASAN Self-Desk Kiosk in the arrival hall before passport control, scan your passport, complete the short form, and pay the USD 30 fee by card. The Visa on Arrival is issued on the spot — valid for a single entry stay of up to 30 days.

Rayna Tours will advise you on whether you qualify for Visa on Arrival or require an eVisa based on your specific residency validity and passport nationality at the time of enquiry.

Important Notes

  • eVisa applications must be submitted at least 3 working days before the intended date of arrival — or 3 hours before for the urgent eVisa option.
  • UAE and GCC residents whose residence permit has less than 6 months remaining validity must apply for an eVisa online before travel — Visa on Arrival will not be available in this case.
  • The eVisa must be printed in A4 format — showing on a mobile phone is not always accepted at the border.
  • All eVisa application fees and Rayna Tours service fees are strictly non-refundable once the application has been initiated, regardless of the outcome.
  • For group and family applications — the ASAN Visa system allows family applications (minimum 2, maximum 10 persons) and group applications (minimum 10, maximum 300 persons) through the same official portal.

Important Notice Visa approval and permitted stay are determined solely by the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations and the relevant authorities of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Rayna Tours acts as a professional visa assistance provider only and does not guarantee visa approval.

Azerbaijan — Visa Overview

About Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan is one of the world's most captivating and underrated travel destinations — a nation of extraordinary contrasts where ancient history, modern ambition, and breathtaking natural landscapes converge in perfect harmony. Situated at the crossroads of Eastern Europe and Western Asia on the shores of the Caspian Sea, Azerbaijan is a country of remarkable diversity — from the ultramodern skyline of its capital Baku to the ancient cave paintings of Gobustan, from the eternal flames of Yanar Dag to the snow-capped peaks of the Greater Caucasus Mountains.

Baku — one of the world's most visually striking and rapidly developing capitals — captivates with the iconic Flame Towers that light up the skyline, the UNESCO-listed Old City (Icherisheher) with its ancient Palace of the Shirvanshahs and Maiden Tower, the stunning Heydar Aliyev Centre designed by Zaha Hadid, and a world-class waterfront boulevard that rivals the finest promenades in Europe. The city seamlessly blends its medieval heritage with futuristic architecture, luxury hospitality, and a vibrant culinary scene that reflects centuries of Silk Road influence.

Beyond Baku, Azerbaijan reveals extraordinary depth — the ancient cave city of Kish, the colourful mud volcanoes of Gobustan, the wine region of Sheki with its magnificent Khan's Palace, the winter ski resorts of Shahdag, and the subtropical forests and waterfalls of the Talysh Mountains in the south. Azerbaijan is also rapidly establishing itself as a global events destination — having hosted the Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix, the Eurovision Song Contest, the Islamic Solidarity Games, and COP29 in 2024. Safe, welcoming, and extraordinarily diverse, Azerbaijan is a destination that rewards every traveller with experiences that are genuinely unlike anywhere else.

What is an Azerbaijan eVisa?

The Azerbaijan eVisa — issued through the official ASAN Visa system operated by the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan — is a fully digital single-entry visa permitting eligible foreign nationals to visit Azerbaijan for tourism, business, and other permitted short-term purposes. It is applied for entirely online through the official portal — evisa.gov.az — in three simple steps: Apply, Pay, and Download. No embassy visit, no passport submission, and no in-person appointment is required at any stage. There is no physical sticker visa for tourist or business purposes — all short-term visit authorisations are issued as a fully digital A4 PDF document that must be printed and presented at the Azerbaijan border checkpoint together with the passport.
