Baiyoke Sky

Baiyoke Sky Tower is one of Bangkok's tallest buildings, rising above the Pratunam district in the centre of the city. A high-speed elevator takes you straight to the 77th floor, and most visitors spend around an hour taking in the views from there and from the revolving deck above.

The 77th floor observation deck is enclosed, with floor-to-ceiling windows giving a wide view over Bangkok's rooftops in every direction. From there, a further ride up brings you to the revolving deck on the 84th floor, which turns slowly through a full circle so you see the entire city without moving from your seat, from the Chao Phraya River to the far edges of the metropolis. The view is at its best around sunset, when the skyline shifts from daylight haze to a spread of lights below.

For a meal with the view, the Sky Buffet, the Crystal Grill and the 83rd-floor rooftop bar are open to visitors for an additional charge. Rayna's local Bangkok team looks after the booking, so you have a point of contact if anything comes up before your visit.
