What is a Mongolia eVisa?

The Mongolia eVisa is a fully digital travel authorisation issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia — applied for entirely online through the official Mongolia eVisa portal — evisa.mfa.mn — and delivered electronically to the applicant's registered email address upon approval. The approved eVisa must be printed and presented alongside the valid passport at Mongolian immigration upon arrival. No embassy visit is required.

Two Entry Routes — Mongolia

Route 1 — Visa Free (UAE Nationals):
UAE nationals holding a valid Emirati passport may enter Mongolia visa-free for up to 30 days — confirmed from the official Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia. No application · no eVisa · and no fee required.

Route 2 — eVisa (Online Application):
All other nationalities — including Indian nationals and KSA nationals — must apply for the Mongolia eVisa online through evisa.mfa.mn before travel.

UAE Nationals — Visa Free:
UAE nationals enter Mongolia visa-free for up to 30 days. No application required.

UAE Residents of Other Nationalities — eVisa Required:
Determined by passport held — not UAE residency. Indian · Pakistani · Bangladeshi · and most other UAE residents must apply for the Mongolia eVisa through evisa.mfa.mn.

KSA Nationals — eVisa Required:
Saudi Arabian nationals must apply for the Mongolia eVisa online through evisa.mfa.mn before travel.

KSA Residents of Other Nationalities — eVisa Required:
Determined by passport held — must apply for the Mongolia eVisa through evisa.mfa.mn.

Indian Nationals — eVisa Required:
Indian nationals must apply for the Mongolia eVisa online through evisa.mfa.mn before travel.
