Grand Pearl Cruise

The Grand Pearl Cruise is an evening dinner cruise on Bangkok's Chao Phraya River, often called the River of Kings. It departs at 7.30 pm and returns by 9.30 pm, so you get a two-hour trip past the city's lit-up riverside landmarks.

A welcome drink at the check-in lounge starts the evening before you settle in for a Thai and international buffet dinner, with a sushi corner and a dessert table alongside the main spread. As the boat drifts downriver, temples and monuments along the bank light up for the night, among them Wat Arun and the Grand Palace, with Rama VIII Bridge passing further along the route. A live band plays through dinner, and a traditional Thai classical dance performance takes the stage for part of the cruise. You can stay at your table on the air-conditioned lower deck or step out to the open-air deck for photos of the passing skyline.
