The Bali Eat Pray Love Day Tour is a full-day, guided experience inspired by the book and film, built around a visit to a sacred water temple for a traditional purification ritual and a stop with a Balinese healer. Pickup and the drive into Bali's countryside

A hotel pickup collects you in the morning, and from there you travel with your driver and English-speaking guide across Bali's countryside. Along the way, you pass rice terraces, traditional villages and quiet stretches of countryside that set the tone before you reach the temple, with your guide sharing background on the customs and sites along the route.

Holy bathing ritual at the water temple

At the temple, your guide explains local customs and temple etiquette before you change into a sarong, included as part of the tour, and step into the bathing area. Under guidance, you take part in the purification ritual believed to cleanse the mind, body and soul, at Tirta Empul, one of Bali's best known holy water temples and a place of pilgrimage for close to a thousand years.

Balinese healer and palm reading

Later in the day, you visit a Balinese healer for a session that includes traditional healing guidance and a palm reading, a nod to the wellness storyline the tour is named after. Bottled water is provided throughout the day to keep you comfortable between stops, and your guide is on hand to answer questions about the customs and rituals you take part in, from temple etiquette to the meaning behind the purification ritual.
