This tour combines a Mount Batur sunrise, a stop at a Bali waterfall and time at Cretya Ubud, with hotel pickup and drop-off from selected areas. Depending on the option you choose, you reach the Mount Batur viewpoint by 4WD jeep or on a guided trek, before the day winds down at Cretya Ubud's pool.

Early start

Your day begins very early, well before sunrise, with pickup from your hotel and a drive out to Mount Batur while it is still dark. An English-speaking driver and guide handle the journey, so you can use the ride to rest before the activity ahead.

Sunrise over Mount Batur

On the jeep option, you ride up to the viewpoint; on the trekking option, you walk up. Either way, you arrive in time to watch the sky lighten over Mount Batur's volcanic terrain, with views over the surrounding lake and farmland as the light changes. A simple breakfast is served at the viewpoint once the sun is up.

Waterfall stop

After sunrise, the group heads to one of Bali's waterfalls, set in rainforest surroundings that make a good spot to slow down, take photos and cool off before the day gets busier. The stop works as a contrast to the volcanic scenery at Mount Batur, swapping open viewpoints for the green, closed-in feel of the forest around the falls.

Time at Cretya Ubud

The tour finishes with time at Cretya Ubud, where an infinity pool and rice terrace views make a good spot to relax after the early start and the activities of the morning. It is a slower close to a day that starts in the dark and moves through a jeep or trek, a waterfall and then the pool.
