Phi Phi Island Bamboo Island Maya Bay and Pileh Lagoon by Speed Boat

This full day trip runs by speedboat from Phuket to four of the Andaman Sea's best known islands: Phi Phi Island, Bamboo Island, Maya Bay and Pileh Lagoon. Expect open water crossings, several swimming stops and a lunch break at Phi Phi Don Island, timed to your booked departure slot.

The day begins with a hotel pickup in Phuket, taking you to the pier by road before the speedboat departs for the outer islands. Crew on board guide each stop, allowing time for swimming, snorkeling and simply exploring the shoreline before moving on to the next island.

At Phi Phi Island, limestone cliffs rise straight out of turquoise water, with time to snorkel over coral reefs and spot colorful reef fish close to the boat. Bamboo Island offers a quieter stretch of white sand and calm, shallow water that suits relaxed swimming, while Pileh Lagoon is a smaller bay ringed by cliffs, calm and clear, and well suited to unwinding away from the busier stops.

Maya Bay is one of the day's stops, the beach that appeared in the film The Beach starring Leonardo DiCaprio, framed by tall cliffs on three sides. There is time here to swim, take photos, or simply sit by the water before the boat moves on. Across the islands, the pace stays relaxed, with guests free to snorkel, sunbathe on the sand, or stay on board rather than follow a fixed schedule.

A buffet lunch at a beachside restaurant on Phi Phi Don Island breaks up the day, with a spread of Thai and international dishes served between the morning and afternoon stops.

• Carry a valid photo ID or passport; it may need to be shown at pickup.
• Your booking confirmation is valid only for the date and time selected.
• Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
• Show your voucher, on your phone or printed, at pickup.
• The pickup time on the voucher is approximate; be at the hotel lobby at least 5 minutes early and allow for a possible wait of 30 to 45 minutes depending on traffic.
• Guests who miss the transfer will need to arrange their own transport to the pier; no refund or rescheduling applies once booked.
• National Park fees are mandatory and not included unless you book the option with NPF; you can also pay locally.
• For the islands, wear shorts or a light T shirt that can get wet, with slippers or sandals.
• Bring swimwear, a beach towel, sunblock, a hat, sunglasses and a camera with spare batteries.
• This speedboat trip is not recommended for seniors above 70, pregnant women, children under 1 year, or guests with heart conditions, high blood pressure or a physical disability; the operator can decline high risk guests.
• The tour is not wheelchair accessible.
