The James Bond Island tour on a Big Boat is a full-day guided cruise through Ao Phang-Nga National Marine Park, home to more than 40 islands across 400 square kilometres of limestone cliffs, hidden lagoons, isolated caves and mangrove-lined bays.

Hotel transfer and the cruise into Phang Nga Bay

A roundtrip hotel transfer takes you to the pier at Phang Nga Bay, where you board the Big Boat and set out among the mangrove forests and limestone islands that mark the start of the route. Refreshments and snacks are served on board as the coastline opens into the bay's scattered islets.

Koh Hong's hidden lagoon

The first stop is Koh Hong, a crescent-shaped island known for its powdery white sand and shallow coral reefs close to shore. Depending on the option you book, you can paddle a kayak or canoe into the island's hidden lagoon, tucked behind a ring of limestone cliffs.

James Bond Island and Koh Panyi

From Koh Hong, the boat continues to Khao Phing Kan, known worldwide as James Bond Island since it appeared in the 1974 film The Man with the Golden Gun, with the narrow Ko Tapu rock rising from the water beside it. The tour then stops at Koh Panyi, a settlement built on stilts over the sea, where a traditional Thai lunch is served amid its floating houses and shops.

Swimming and sunbathing at Naka Island

The last stop is Naka Island, a quieter beach where there is time to swim, sunbathe and relax on the sand before the Big Boat gathers everyone for the return crossing toward Phuket.

Back at the pier, the transfer returns you to your Phuket hotel to close out the day of island-hopping. Rayna Tours' own team handles the booking, guide and transfer arrangements, keeping a familiar point of contact with you from pickup to drop-off.
