What is a Malawi eVisa?

The Malawi eVisa is a fully digital travel authorisation issued by the Malawi Department of Immigration — applied for entirely online through the official Malawi eVisa portal — evisa.gov.mw — and delivered electronically to the applicant's registered email address upon approval. The approved eVisa must be printed and presented alongside the valid passport at Malawian immigration upon arrival. No embassy visit is required. The Malawi eVisa is available to nationals of most countries worldwide.
