Simon Cabaret show

Simon Cabaret is one of Phuket's best known cabaret shows, staged nightly in Patong since the theatre opened in 1991. Three performances run each evening, at 6 pm, 7.30 pm and 9 pm, with a pre-arranged ticket that lets you walk straight into a reserved seat.

On arrival, you are shown to your seat in the theatre, with a clear view of the stage from wherever you are seated. When the curtain goes up, the cast works through a run of musical numbers and dance routines drawn from different countries, backed by elaborate costumes and stage lighting. Song and dance numbers cover a mix of musical styles, and the performers' comic timing draws plenty of audience reactions between acts. The pace stays high through the performance, with the cast's stage presence and timing carrying the show from one number to the next.
