Hong Island On Long Tail Boat

The Hong Island tour by long tail boat is an island-hopping day out to four islands: Hong Island, Tup Island, Chicken Island, and Poda Island. You can choose a day tour with lunch or a sunset tour with dinner.

A roundtrip hotel transfer is included, taking you from your hotel to the boat departure point before the tour and back again once the islands are done for the day.

The waters around Chicken Island are rich with coral reef and tropical fish, and there is time to put on a mask and snorkel gear and explore them at your own pace. From here, the long tail boat carries you between the islands at an easy pace, giving you plenty of time to take in the limestone scenery rather than rushing between stops.

On Hong Island, the boat threads into the Emerald Lagoon, a quiet inlet enclosed by limestone walls. Elsewhere on the tour, you can step into the Princess Cave, considered sacred by locals, and the Phra Nang Cave Beach, both shaped by the same limestone that rises out of the water across this stretch of the Andaman coast.

Poda Island has one of the softest, whitest beaches on the route, with calm, clear water for swimming. At Tup Island, a natural sandbar appears at low tide, connecting it to its neighbouring island so you can walk across the sea floor between them before the tide comes back in. The four-island route is timed to give you a proper stop at each spot rather than a rushed drive-by, so there is time to swim, wander the sand, and take photographs before moving on.

Lunch or dinner is served aboard the boat or on the beach, depending on your option. Rayna's Krabi team manages the pickup and the day, with support on hand throughout.
