Mt Ararat Wine Tasting & Dinner at Tushpa Winery

This guided wine tasting and dinner takes place at a family-run winery and cellar in the Ararat Valley, in the shadow of Mt. Ararat, about a 40-minute drive from central Yerevan. The visit runs for two hours and pairs three of the winery's wines with a 3-course Armenian meal.

The visit begins with a tour of the cellar and production facility, where a wine guide explains Armenia's winemaking history, a tradition that stretches back more than 6,000 years, along with the story of the family winery and how it makes wine from local grapes. After the cellar tour, you sit down for a guided tasting of three wines alongside a 3-course meal cooked with seasonal ingredients from nearby village farms. The white wine is served with appetizers, the red with the main hot dish, and the Muscat with dessert. Once the meal winds down, you are free to walk through the winery facilities and vineyards and take in the view of Mt. Ararat before heading back to Yerevan.
