We begin the journey by heading to the South from Yerevan – through Ararat Province to Vayots Dzor Province – and will come closer to Ararat's piedmont near Armenian-Turkish border. As we know, the most famous symbol for Armenians – Mount Ararat isn't located on the territory of Republic of Armenia. Nonetheless, Khor Virap offers the best view to admire the mount. And here we will take our first stop.Later we shall visit Noravank meaning “New Monastery” in Armenian. A visit to the winery will give you the opportunity to taste 15 sorts of wine, watch a short-length film about the history of the factory, wine-making in Armenia and its historical background. Afterwards you are welcome to have a walk in the cellars of the factory.
