city on the Caspian Sea and close to the Iran border. As you absorb its paradisiacal
natural beauty and incomparable flora and fauna, you’ll check off some of its
must-experiences. Tour the Lankaran History and Ethnography or Lankaran Khan

Going forward, you’ll see
the legendary Lankaran Circular Fortress, built in 1786 and later served as a dungeon
and a prison with revolutionary leaders like Joseph Stalin as its inmates. There

before you continue to the hot spring of Ibadi which is all scenic and imbued
with fascinating legends.
In the city of Lerik, its
gorgeous lush scenery interspersed with waterfalls, pure spring water, dense wooded
meadows and cool mountain air will blow you away. Unsurprisingly, the place is reputed
for the exceptional longevity of its inhabitants. What’s more; you can even
walk into the Museum of Longevity, probably the only museum in the world
dedicated to centenarians. Find here some fascinating exhibits that reveal the
healthy lifestyle of the region’s centenarians including those who lived close
to 170 years.
