Itinerary

Day 1

NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport - Darjeeling

Experience a warm welcome upon landing at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra (IXB) Airport and then be transferred to Darjeeling on a scenic three-hour drive. Check in to your room, relax, and spend the rest of the day at your leisure.

Day 2

Full-Day Darjeeling Tour

After an early breakfast, join our guided tour that takes you to the majestic Tiger Hill to admire the unequaled sunrise over Kanchenjunga’s snow-clad peaks. On your way back, stop at the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and also explore P.N. Zoological Park (closed on Thursdays), which houses some rare mountain wildlife. You’ll also tour Tenzing Rock for an exciting ride on the Ropeway, which feasts you with jaw-dropping views of Darjeeling’s tea gardens. The Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Centre and the revered Japanese Temple are other attractions covered in your program.

Day 3

Darjeeling - Kalimpong; Local Sightseeing

Today, you’ll check out of your hotel and then set out on an enchanting six-hour drive to Kalimpong. As you arrive, enjoy a sightseeing tour of Kalimpong, visiting its top attractions such as Mangal Dham, Deolo Hill, the Golf Course, Durpin Dara Hills, and the Pine View Nursery. Finally, check in to your room for a peaceful overnight stay.

Day 4

Kalimpong – Gangtok; Half Day Local Sightseeing

Today, you’ll leave Kalimpong and head to Gangtok. Following a pleasant seven-hour drive, Explore Gangtok’s best sights on a half-day sightseeing tour, covering the Flower Show, Cottage Industry and Handicraft Centre, and the Institute of Tibetology. Before the tour ends and you check in to your room, you’ll also stop at Dro-dul Chorten, the Gonjang Monastery, and the scenic Banjakhri Falls.

Day 5

Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir

Today’s highlight is a visit to Tsomgo Lake; the three-hour drive to the destination itself is one of this trip’s major draws. You’ll also visit the revered Baba Mandir, a shrine set amid a scenic and spiritual setting. To make the most of this excursion, be sure to bring your original documents for permits. An alternate tour or program will be arranged, if Tsomgo Lake is closed due to unforeseen circumstances, such as a landslide.

Day 6

Gangtok - NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport

After hotel check-out, wrap up your holiday on a hassle-free note, as your friendly driver will transfer you to NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra (IXB) Airport on time for your onward journey.

Check-in & Check-out Timings: Standard hotel check-in time is 14:00 hrs. and check-out time is 12:00 hrs. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and hotel policy.
Booking Confirmation: All bookings are subject to availability at the time of confirmation. Rates may vary during peak periods, holidays, or long weekends.
Travel Documents: Guests are requested to carry a valid government-issued photo ID at the time of check-in. Foreign nationals must carry their passports and valid visas.
Vehicle Usage: Vehicle will be provided as per the itinerary and point-to-point basis only. It will not be available for unlimited use or at disposal after the sightseeing tour ends for the day.
Monument Entry Fees: Entry tickets to monuments, camera/video charges, and local guide services are not included unless specified.
Meals: Meals are provided as mentioned in the inclusions. Any additional meals or room service will be chargeable.
Children Policy: Child rates apply as per hotel policy. Please check at the time of booking for extra bed or without bed options.
Unforeseen Circumstances: Rayna Tours is not responsible for delays, cancellations, or changes in itinerary due to weather conditions, natural calamities, strikes, or any circumstances beyond our control.
Health & Safety: Guests are advised to carry necessary medication and check travel advisories before travel.
Amendments & Cancellations: Any changes after confirmation may attract amendment or cancellation charges as per hotel and transport policies.
Package Validity: The package cost and inclusions are valid for the period mentioned and may vary depending on travel dates and group size.

Booking Policy

30 days or more before departure 30% of package price will be charged as cancellation fee.

20-30 days before departure 50% of package price will be charged.

Within 20 days / No-show: 100% of the package price will be charged.

Payment Terms

To confirm your booking and ensure smooth arrangements, please take note of our standard payment terms:

Booking Confirmation:

A minimum advance payment of 25%–50% of the total package cost is required at the time of booking.

The exact advance amount will depend on the type of package, hotel category, and travel season.

Balance Payment:

The remaining balance must be settled 10–15 days prior to the travel date.

For last-minute bookings (within 10 days of travel), 100% payment is required at the time of confirmation.

Mode of Payment:

Payments can be made via bank transfer, UPI, or authorized payment gateway shared by Rayna Tours.

Credit/debit card payments may attract additional bank processing charges.

Booking Confirmation Vouchers:

Final confirmation vouchers (hotel, transport, sightseeing, etc.) will be shared only after full payment is received.
