Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival at NJP/Bagdogra; Transfer to Gangtok & Leisure Evening at MG Marg

As you land at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport, our representative will greet you and transfer you to Gangtok. Journey through the quaint mountainous landscape to your accommodation for check-in. Relax for some time and then head out to explore MG Marge in the evening. This dynamic, pedestrian-friendly boulevard will blow you away, with its elegant cafes and local shops.

Day 2

Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir

Today’s main program is an exciting excursion to the breathtaking Tsomgo Lake, a revered high-altitude lake with crystal-clear waters. You’ll also proceed to the sacred Baba Mandir, dedicated to Baba Harbhajan Singh and known for its enlightening past and peaceful settings.

Permits are inevitable for this excursion, so guests must carry two passport-size photos and a photocopy of a valid Photo ID (Passport, Driving License, or Voter ID). If joined by children under 18, be sure to carry their birth certificate or school/college ID.

An alternate sightseeing plan will be arranged in rare circumstances like landslides or unforeseen conditions that lead to the closure of Tsomgo Lake.

Day 3

Drive to Darjeeling; Enroute Scenic Valleys & Teesta River

Today, you’ll check out of the hotel and embark on a relaxed drive to Darjeeling, passing through lush valleys, stunning hillsides, and untouched mountain settlements. You’ll also stop at the attractive Teesta River along the way, whose turquoise waters and greenery will surely take your breath away. Upon arrival in Darjeeling, settle into your room and spend the rest of the day at your leisure.

Day 4

Early morning Tiger Hill sunrise, Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Zoo & Tea Garden

Set out on a pre-dawn trip to Tiger Hill, where you’ll witness the compelling sunrise over the mighty Kanchenjunga’s snow-blanketed peaks. Later, head to the serene Ghoom Monastery, one of the region’s oldest sights, and the iconic Batasia Loop to catch spellbinding views of Darjeeling and its renowned toy train track.

Another attraction covered in your program is the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, a must-visit for adventurists. Stop at the adjoining zoo, which inhabits rare high-altitude wildlife, and round off your day by visiting the verdant tea garden to acquaint yourself with the region’s rich tea heritage.

Day 5

Departure; Transfer to NJP/Bagdogra

After breakfast and hotel check-out, your friendly driver will transfer you to NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport for your onward travel. Enjoy the scenic drive as you say goodbye to Darjeeling’s unequaled Himalayan charm.

Important Information

We aim to make your journey as seamless and enjoyable as possible. To ensure a smooth travel experience, please take a moment to review the important details below before you begin your trip.

Check-in & Check-out Timings: Standard hotel check-in time is 14:00 hrs. and check-out time is 12:00 hrs. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and hotel policy.
Booking Confirmation: All bookings are subject to availability at the time of confirmation. Rates may vary during peak periods, holidays, or long weekends.
Travel Documents: Guests are requested to carry a valid government-issued photo ID at the time of check-in. Foreign nationals must carry their passports and valid visas.
Vehicle Usage: Vehicle will be provided as per the itinerary and point-to-point basis only. It will not be available for unlimited use or at disposal after the sightseeing tour ends for the day.
Monument Entry Fees: Entry tickets to monuments, camera/video charges, and local guide services are not included unless specified.
Meals: Meals are provided as mentioned in the inclusions. Any additional meals or room service will be chargeable.
Children Policy: Child rates apply as per hotel policy. Please check at the time of booking for extra bed or without bed options.
Unforeseen Circumstances: Rayna Tours is not responsible for delays, cancellations, or changes in itinerary due to weather conditions, natural calamities, strikes, or any circumstances beyond our control.
Health & Safety: Guests are advised to carry necessary medication and check travel advisories before travel.
Amendments & Cancellations: Any changes after confirmation may attract amendment or cancellation charges as per hotel and transport policies.
Package Validity: The package cost and inclusions are valid for the period mentioned and may vary depending on travel dates and group size.

Booking Policy

30 days or more before departure 30% of package price will be charged as cancellation fee.

20-30 days before departure 50% of package price will be charged.

Within 20 days / No-show: 100% of the package price will be charged.

Payment Terms

To confirm your booking and ensure smooth arrangements, please take note of our standard payment terms:

Booking Confirmation:

A minimum advance payment of 25%–50% of the total package cost is required at the time of booking.

The exact advance amount will depend on the type of package, hotel category, and travel season.

Balance Payment:

The remaining balance must be settled 10–15 days prior to the travel date.

For last-minute bookings (within 10 days of travel), 100% payment is required at the time of confirmation.

Mode of Payment:

Payments can be made via bank transfer, UPI, or authorized payment gateway shared by Rayna Tours.

Credit/debit card payments may attract additional bank processing charges.

Booking Confirmation Vouchers:

Final confirmation vouchers (hotel, transport, sightseeing, etc.) will be shared only after full payment is received.
