Best of Sikkim Gangtok North Sikkim and Pelling Sightseeing

Be greeted by our representative as you land at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport. You’ll next get transferred to Gangtok on a spellbinding five-hour drive to Gangtok. After arrival, check in to your room and unwind or spend the rest of the day at your leisure.  

Today, enjoy a guided three-hour drive toward Tsomgo Lake, a picturesque glacial lake set amid dramatic landscapes. Immerse yourself in its unspoiled beauty before heading to the sacred Baba Mandir. Dedicated to Baba Harbhajan Singh, this shrine allows you to experience Sikkim’s rich cultural and spiritual charm.  

Important Notes: Carry two passport-size photos and a photocopy of a valid photo ID. Children under 18 must carry a birth certificate or school/college ID. If Tsomgo Lake is inaccessible due to landslides, an alternate sightseeing tour will be arranged. 

Today, you’ll leave Sikkim’s capital and travel to Lachung. The approximately six-hour journey feasts your senses with the most exquisite views, from serene mountain landscapes to cascading waterfalls and dense forests. Once you reach, settle into your room and spend the remainder of the day at your own relaxed pace.

Prepare for an early-morning adventure as you head to the unrivaled Yumthang Valley on a 90-minute drive. Also called the Valley of Flowers, this iconic attraction is set amid snowy peaks, green meadows, clear streams, and colorful blooms. After a day in the lap of unspoiled nature, return to your accommodation with a convenient transfer.  

Today, check out of the hotel and return to Gangtok on a pleasant six-hour drive, taking in North Sikkim’s untouched landscapes with rivers, valleys, and terraced gardens. Upon arrival at the hotel, check in and spend the rest of the day at leisure.  

Depart from Gangtok for Pelling, one of Sikkim’s most quaint towns, on a seven-hour drive. Pause at Namchi en route and tour the revered Siddheshwar Dham (Chardham) and Sai Temple. Continue your drive through rolling hills, verdant valleys, and attractive villages before arriving in Pelling. Check in to your hotel for a peaceful overnight stay. 

Enjoy your breakfast and then set out on a full-day tour of Pelling! Start at the charming Darap Village and then stop at the dazzling Rimbi Waterfalls, before proceeding to the sacred Khecheopalri Lake (Wish-fulfilling Lake) and the scenic Khangchendzongha Waterfalls. The second half of the day is all about visiting attractions, such as the historic Pemayangtse Monastery and the ruins of Rabdantse (the second capital of Sikkim). Also, appreciate panoramic views from the Sang-Ngag Choling Skywalk and New Helipad Ground. Return transfer to your hotel is arranged.  

After a fulfilling breakfast and hotel check-out, our representative will transfer you to NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport, approximately 140 km away. Sit back and admire the mind-blowing drive through lush valleys, winding roads, and Himalayan foothills, before you prepare for your onward journey.
