Itinerary

Day 1

NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport - Gangtok (128 kilometers / 5 hours)

Welcome to Sikkim as you arrive at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra (IXB) Airport. Our representative will transfer you to Gangtok on a captivating five-hour drive. Journey through charming mountain paths and unspoiled greenery until you reach your hotel. Settle into your room and spend the rest of the day at your leisure.

Day 2

Excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir

Your day starts early, as a guided excursion will take you to the pristine Tsomgo Lake, about 53 kilometers away. The three-hour drive itself is a major draw, journeying you through exquisite mountains, valleys, and more. You’ll also stop at the sacred Baba Mandir, celebrated for its spiritual setting.

Day 3

Gangtok Full Day Local Sightseeing

Dedicate the day to taking in Gangtok’s marvelous sights. It starts at Tashi View Point, followed by a stop at the revered Ganesh Tok and Hanuman Tok temples, treating you to spectacular hilltop vistas. You’ll also visit the Cottage Industry and Handicraft Centre and the Institute of Tibetology to learn about Tibetan culture and heritage. Apart from these, prepare for the most scenic experiences at the majestic Gonjang Monastery, Dro-dul Chorten, and the scintillating Banjakhri Falls.

Important note: The Cottage Industry and Handicraft Centre is closed on Sundays and the 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month, and the Institute of Tibetology is closed on Sundays.

Day 4

Gangtok – Darjeeling

After hotel check-out, enjoy a pleasant four-hour drive to Darjeeling. Marvel at striking landscapes, windy mountain paths, and striking valleys en route, allowing you to appreciate the region’s untouched allure. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and spend the remainder of the day at your own pace.

Day 5

Darjeeling Full Day Sightseeing

Today, get ready for a pre-dawn adventure as you head to Tiger Hill to witness the spectacular sunrise over the snow-capped peaks of the imposing Kanchenjunga. Explore the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, dedicated to mountaineering legends, followed by a stop at the P.N. Zoological Park (closed on Thursdays), sheltering unique and rare high-altitude wildlife. You’ll next proceed to Tenzing Rock, where an exhilarating ride on the Ropeway awaits, and the Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Centre (closed on Sundays) to see local crafts. Finally, drive past the marvelous Tea Gardens and stop at the serene Japanese Temple. Return transfer to your hotel is included.

Day 6

Darjeeling - NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport

After breakfast and hotel check-out, our representative will transfer you to NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra (IXB) Airport, on a comfortable three-hour drive, ensuring a stress-free end to your holiday.

We aim to make your journey as seamless and enjoyable as possible. To ensure a smooth travel experience, please take a moment to review the important details below before you begin your trip.

Check-in & Check-out Timings: Standard hotel check-in time is 14:00 hrs. and check-out time is 12:00 hrs. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and hotel policy.
Booking Confirmation: All bookings are subject to availability at the time of confirmation. Rates may vary during peak periods, holidays, or long weekends.
Travel Documents: Guests are requested to carry a valid government-issued photo ID at the time of check-in. Foreign nationals must carry their passports and valid visas.
Vehicle Usage: Vehicle will be provided as per the itinerary and point-to-point basis only. It will not be available for unlimited use or at disposal after the sightseeing tour ends for the day.
Monument Entry Fees: Entry tickets to monuments, camera/video charges, and local guide services are not included unless specified.
Meals: Meals are provided as mentioned in the inclusions. Any additional meals or room service will be chargeable.
Children Policy: Child rates apply as per hotel policy. Please check at the time of booking for extra bed or without bed options.
Unforeseen Circumstances: Rayna Tours is not responsible for delays, cancellations, or changes in itinerary due to weather conditions, natural calamities, strikes, or any circumstances beyond our control.
Health & Safety: Guests are advised to carry necessary medication and check travel advisories before travel.
Amendments & Cancellations: Any changes after confirmation may attract amendment or cancellation charges as per hotel and transport policies.
Package Validity: The package cost and inclusions are valid for the period mentioned and may vary depending on travel dates and group size.

Booking Policy

30 days or more before departure 30% of package price will be charged as cancellation fee.

20-30 days before departure 50% of package price will be charged.

Within 20 days / No-show: 100% of the package price will be charged.

Payment Terms

To confirm your booking and ensure smooth arrangements, please take note of our standard payment terms:

Booking Confirmation:

A minimum advance payment of 25%–50% of the total package cost is required at the time of booking.

The exact advance amount will depend on the type of package, hotel category, and travel season.

Balance Payment:

The remaining balance must be settled 10–15 days prior to the travel date.

For last-minute bookings (within 10 days of travel), 100% payment is required at the time of confirmation.

Mode of Payment:

Payments can be made via bank transfer, UPI, or authorized payment gateway shared by Rayna Tours.

Credit/debit card payments may attract additional bank processing charges.

Booking Confirmation Vouchers:

Final confirmation vouchers (hotel, transport, sightseeing, etc.) will be shared only after full payment is received.
